OUTER BANKS FLORAL PRESERVATION ARTISTMeet Whitney Burroughs, the artist behind Beaux’s Botanical Designs.
I am the artist behind all of the one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork you see on our website. I decided to create Beaux’s Botanical Designs as a fun way to connect with couples who are seeking to make a piece of that Outer Banks Destination Wedding magic, last forever.
To be part of a project that saves something so delicate and sentimental is truly so special. Taking great care in handling the blooms that witnessed memories being made, laughs, happy tears, and a room full of love.
My husband and I tied the knot in September of 2022, and I had my heart set on preserving my flowers. Once I found a way to make that possible, I knew that other couples would appreciate a chance to save a piece of their ‘Best Day Ever’ too! I can’t wait to create something beautiful for you to enjoy long after your wedding day!

I absolutely love having floral preservation as a creative outlet. Creating this business was something I didn’t think I would ever get a chance to do… and I am so grateful for this experience! I put just as much care into each piece of artwork that I design, as I would if each order were my own wedding flowers.
At Beaux’s Botanical Designs, my mission is simple: to honor your memories in a way that feels both beautiful and useful. I take the flowers you carried, arranged, or lovingly chose for your celebration and turn them into pieces you’ll actually live with - on your shelves, on your table, and in the spaces you love most.
A floral preservation studio dedicated to making artwork that holds memories. Artwork that reminds you of the little bit of magic you felt on your favorite day, every time you walk by it.
I limit the number of projects I take each week so every bouquet, arrangement, and keepsake gets the time and attention it deserves. No rushed orders, no cookie-cutter designs.
Based in the Outer Banks, I work closely with local venues and planners for seamless wedding-day pickups - but I also welcome years old air-dried bouquets and fresh shipped blooms from celebrations near and far.
Each piece is designed with longevity in mind, using high-quality materials and thoughtful care instructions so your artwork can age gracefully and become part of your story for years to come.
